Kim Woojin Dances To Shah Rukh Khan’s Chaleya: Gone are the days when Indian K-pop fans used to edit Bollywood songs on dance videos of their favourite South Korean idols. Giving a glimpse of what the fans were craving for so long, one of the most loved South Korean personalities, actor and singer Kim Woojin, surprised his fans with a dance performance on Shah Rukh Khan’s hit track ‘Chaleya’ from the film ‘Jawan’. Woojin is on his tour to India, where he did the said performance in Delhi. The former Stray Kids idol released his second mini-album, The moment : 美成年, Bounce, on August 30. Woojin’s solo career began in 2021, and since then, the leading name has further widened his fandom.
The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘srkian341’. The post was captioned, “South Korean Actor & Singer Kim Woojin performing on #Chaleya at his India Visit for Cherry Blossom festival in Delhi. Biggest Chartbuster Song Of The Year.”
The video went viral on the internet as people loved the actor’s performance and the inclusivity that was displayed by the South Korean actor dancing to a Bollywood song. Most of his fans loved the surprise and dubbed it the perfect combination of his dance and SRK’s hit song. Several also hailed SRK’s song for making headlines on a global scale.

Taking to social media, fans shared their take on the ‘Shah Rukh Khan effect’ and the ace performance by Woojin. “Korean Singer Kim Woojin performs on #Chaleya in Delhi,” a user said. “Kim Woojin, the South Korean star, wowed the crowd in Delhi during his visit to the Cherry Blossom festival with his performance on #Chaleya,” said a second person. “Not exactly remember his words but woojin said today is really a special day as it’s his first time performing his 2nd album so he prepared a surprise for us i.e he danced to a bollywood song,” commented a third user. “Enjoyed the whole time. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chaleya’ is one of the most hit songs of 2023 that gained massive love and attention from his fans. The song was from the recently released film ‘Jawan’, where SRK shared the big screen with Deepika Padukone.
