BLACKPINK’s LISA continues her impeccable reign on musical platforms around the world and has continued to set soloist records. She added another achievement as the official account of “Guinness World Records (GWR)” has made it clear with a new announcement.

On September 27, “GWR” officially named Lisa’s “Money” the First K-pop song by a solo artist to surpass 1 billion streams in Spotify history. This once again filled the fans with pride who took to social media to express how much she deserved it.

On the other hand, netizens praise that the “Guinness World Records” have appropriately used the terminology “Solo Artist” since Lisa has achieved this milestone without depending on collaborations of any kind, which is much more difficult to achieve and increases the importance of this momentous milestone in the industry. The only two artists with solo songs that could reach 1 billion streams on Spotify in the near future are “SOLO” by BLACKPINK’s Jennie and “Like Crazy” by BTS’s Jimin.

Everything seems to indicate that Thai superstar will continue with her historic feats for a long time to come since BLACKPINK’s LISA will soon also become the First K-pop Artist to be honored as a cultural icon in the ‘Asian Hall of Fame.’

Congratulations to BLACKPINK’s LISA!
