3RACHA, a subunit of Stray Kids including members Bangchan, Changmin and Han, replaced the full group originally scheduled to perform due to a minor car accident involving members Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin. Both 3RACHA’s and Jungkook’s performances served as platforms for not only musical talent but also highlighted their commitment to global issues.
Fans and attendees were provided with captivating performances combined with a focus on purpose at the festival. The performances of 3RACHA and Jungkook can be viewed starting at the 2-hour mark and the 2-hour 49-minute mark respectively.
Jungkook performed his songs ‘SEVEN,’ ‘Still With You,’ ‘Euphoria,’ along with BTS songs like ‘Permission To Dance,’ ‘Butter’ and ‘Dynamite’. He also announced his new single ‘3D’ at the event. On the other hand, Stray Kids’ subunit 3RACHA performed HEYDAY and TOPLINE at the event.
ABOUT GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL
In conjunction with the performances was the advocacy work championed by the festival, targeting major global issues such as the climate change impacts on the Global South, gender inequities, the global hunger crisis, and advocating protection and defense, stated Globalcitizen. These matters contribute to the endurance of extreme poverty around the world, which the 2023 Global Citizen Festival campaign seeks to address.
