Top K-pop Stars to Ring in the New Year with Exclusive Concerts for Fans

The year 2024 is set to kick off with a bang as a multitude of K-pop acts have announced plans to hold concerts in Korea and abroad to connect with their fans. From K-pop acts TWICE and ITZY hosting their individual concerts to massive events featuring giant agencies’ artist rosters, K-pop fans can anticipate a thrilling start to the New Year.

TWICE (March)

K-pop act TWICE is set to dazzle fans in the upcoming year with an encore performance as part of its fifth world tour, scheduled to take place in the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, on March 16, 2024 (local time).

The upcoming event, titled “TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ Encore,” marks the group’s third appearance at the American Stadium. It previously made history in June and July this year by performing at iconic venues such as the SoFi Stadium in LA, and the MetLife Stadium in New York.

The Allegiant Stadium engagement is part of TWICE’s extensive world tour, encompassing a total of 45 performances across 26 international regions. The nine-member ensemble also ventured into the Australian music scene as it staged a performance at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne in November, marking another first for K-pop groups in the region.

SM Entertainment (February)

SM Entertainment, one of the leading K-pop agencies, is set to captivate audiences with “SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMCU PALACE @TOKYO” at Japan’s Tokyo Dome on Feb. 21 and 22 next year. The upcoming event marks the 20th “SMTOWN LIVE” concert being held in Tokyo Dome, the largest concert venue in Japan.

The star-studded lineup is set to include a plethora of SM artists, such as TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation members Tayeon and HYO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, RIIZE and NCT NEW TEAM.

The previous event, “SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @TOKYO,” held in August 2022, was a resounding success, selling out all available seats for three consecutive concerts. With an impressive audience of 150,000, the event not only solidified the agency’s position as a global performance brand but also generated anticipation for its upcoming show.

ITZY (February)

K-pop girl group ITZY is also gearing up for its second world tour, “ITZY THE 2ND WORLD TOUR BORN TO BE,” which kicks off at Jamsil Arena in Songpa District, Seoul, on Feb. 24 and 25.

Following the success of its first world tour, “CHECKMATE,” which commenced in Seoul in August 2022, ITZY consecutively achieved sell-out performances in eight U.S. cities and seven Asian destinations, including Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Chiba, Taipei, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

The agency behind the group, JYP Entertainment, expressed anticipation for next year’s show, stating, “The upcoming 2024 world tour is poised to further elevate ITZY’s acclaim, solidifying its status as a global force in the K-pop scene,” through an official press release.

Lee Jun-ho (January)

2PM member and soloist Lee Jun-ho is set to kick off 2024 with his concert titled “2024 LEE JUNHO CONCERT ‘The Day We Meet Again.'” Lee’s upcoming performance is scheduled to take place at the Jamsil Arena in Songpa District, Seoul, spanning two days on Jan. 13 and 14, 2024.

“The Day We Meet Again” concert serves as a continuation of Lee’s Japanese solo arena tour, “LEE JUNHO Arena Tour 2023 ‘Mata Aeru Hi,'” held in July and August this year. Notably, this marks Lee’s first solo concert in Korea in five years since “2PM JUNHO SOLO CONCERT JUNHO THE BEST IN SEOUL” in March 2019.

In addition to the aforementioned acts, Fromis_9, DREAMCATCHER, and SHINee’s Minho are also set to welcome the new year with concerts to connect with their fans.

Fromis_9 officially announced the “2024 fromis_9 concert ‘FROM NOW,'” slated for Jan. 27 and 28, 2024. DREAMCATCHER also announced the “Dreamcatcher 2024 World Tour ‘Luck Inside 7 Doors’ in Seoul,” scheduled for Jan. 13, 2024.

Shinee’s Minho will celebrate the New Year with the “2024 BEST CHOI’s MINHO FAN-CON ‘Multi-Chase'” from Jan. 6 to 7, 2024.
