Korean Embassy in Lahore organizes 2023 K-POP Concert Night to strengthen cultural connections

LAHORE – The Embassy of the Republic of Korea celebrated the Korean week in Lahore in which they hosted the 2023 K-POP Concert Night (non-commercial, Non-ticketed) at Al-hamra. Lahore Art Council on the Friday, the 8th of December.

The Korean rock band named GAON had come all the way from Korea to perform for this event. The K-POP idol Ms. Namkoog Seeoyoon, also performed with the Pakistani K-pop group called dynamite crew, alongside Mr. Gohar and Ms. Sara. A group on girls called ‘above top tier’ from the Korea Language and Culture Center also participated in the event.

The Minister for primary and secondary healthcare Dr. Jamal Nasir attended as the Chief Guest. The secretary, Food Department also attended the event.

The ambassador of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. Park Kijun mentioned in his remarks that music has a profound impact in fostering unity and friendship between two nations.

Music transcends borders and has created a universal language. He shared his optimism in regards to the future of the relations between Pakistan and Korea and he was positive that the relations between Pakistan and Korea would grow from strength to strength.

The house was full and the performances were exhilarating. The audience was extremely delighted to attend this concert.
