Calling all K-pop enthusiasts! ITZY, the sensational girl group, is getting ready for an exhilarating start to 2024. JYP Entertainment recently announced that the quintet is all set to drop their highly anticipated album, “Born To Be,” on January 8th, ushering in a new era for the group.
Featuring a total of 10 tracks, the album promises to be a treat for fans as it unveils a more personal touch with individual members contributing to the lyrics and music of their solo tracks—a first in ITZY’s impressive career. JYP Entertainment teased the tracklist on social media, revealing titles like “Untouchable,” “Mr. Vampire,” “Dynamite,” “Crown On My Head,” “Blossom,” “Run Away,” “Mine,” “Yet, but,” and “Escalator.”

Speaking of “Blossom,” this special solo track by member Lia, released as a heartfelt gift for fans last month, has found its place in the upcoming album. However, Lia won’t be partaking in the promotional activities or the upcoming world tour, having taken a hiatus since September 18th due to health concerns.
The excitement doesn’t end with the album release — ITZY is set to embark on their second world tour, starting with a bang at the Jamsil Arena in southern Seoul on February 24th and 25th. While the details of the tour are still under wraps, fans can anticipate a thrilling journey with ITZY, who previously dazzled audiences across eight US cities and ten Asian cities during their first world tour, aptly titled “Checkmate,” from August 2022 to April 2023.
As ITZY gears up for their “Born To Be” album release and the subsequent world tour, fans worldwide are buzzing with anticipation. The promise of new music, individual member contributions, and the energetic performances that ITZY is known for make January 8th and the following tour dates highly awaited milestones in the K-pop calendar. So mark your calendars, because ITZY is all set to redefine what it means to be “Born To Be” in the world of K-pop!
