Have you ever made eye contact with the artist standing right in front of you at your favorite K-POP group’s concert?
Well, you can – virtually, of course! In January 2023, VENTA VR released its app VENTA X on Meta Quest and has since launched almost 100 K-POP VR experiences on the platform. Now, the company announces the release of its second VR concert, Girls in Wonderland, a collaboration between the K-POP group Oh My Girl and singer Lee Chae-yeon.
The VR concert production, which goes live on November 15th, 2023, includes a 40-minute setlist with eight songs from the performers, as well as three brief behind-the-scenes videos for the group’s stans. You can expect to hear tunes like “Secret Garden,” “Summer Comes,” and “Hush Rush” and dance alongside the K-POP artists.
This experience isn’t just singing and dancing, though – it’s an entire story for fans to discover and enjoy together. A mysterious UFO surveys a dark and desolate amusement park. Once it lands, Oh My Girl descends onto the scene. With their vibes and colorful personalities, they slowly transform the amusement park into a joy-filled place where they can all perform together. Shortly after, Lee Chae-yeon arrives, and the show begins.
VENTA VR uses a specific close-up shooting technique meant to heighten users’ immersion and feel like an actual, live, gig. The show is available in 8K 3D VR and supports Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro. The company also launched its app on PICO, allowing you to enjoy VENTA X on PICO 4, PICO 4 Pro, and PICO Neo3 Link.
After downloading the VENTA X app, users can purchase the whole concert for $20.99. Can’t get enough K-POP VR experiences in your life in the meantime? Follow VENTA X on X, TikTok, and YouTube to discover upcoming concerts and events.
