K-pop Celebrities Mistakenly Sport Incorrect Rangers Shirts at Texas Performance

A popular K-pop group appears to have mixed up their sports teams after performing in Rangers tops at a concert in Texas.

STAYC, a South Korean girl group, wore the football tops while performing in Dallas last week.

It is thought they had intended to wear the kit of the city’s baseball team, the Texas Rangers, in an effort to endear themselves to the locals. Instead the band were pictured wearing Rangers shirts from the 1996-97 season, branded with McEwan’s Lager, which had been fashioned into crop tops.

Rangers fans celebrated the girl group’s mix-up. “Rangers are the kings of K-Pop,” one said on Twitter/X, while others wrote “OK, I will buy all their albums” and “Always liked STAYC”.
