ATEEZ member Seonghwa‘s grandmother has passed away, KQ Entertainment confirmed the same in a statement on October 24. Following this loss, the singer will temporarily pause his activities and will not be able to participate in the group’s upcoming activities in the United States.
In a statement released by KQ Entertainment, the label expressed their condolences and addressed details about the situation, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of ATEEZ member Seonghwa’s grandmother passing away on the 23rd.Our thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased and her family during this difficult time. We kindly ask for your warm support and encouragement for Seonghwa as he copes with this loss. Unfortunately, due to this unforeseen event, Seonghwa will be unable to participate in the scheduled activities in the United States.”
