The MLB playoffs attract attention from all over the world, and that’s how the K-Pop band, STAYC, made an appearance. This group consists of six Korean women, but two of them had an embarrassing moment when they confused their jerseys while trying to support the Texas Rangers.
K-Pop band confuses Texas Rangers jersey
The individuals involved in this comical story mistakenly wore the jersey of the MLB team, the Texas Rangers.
Instead of wearing the jersey of the National League team, these Korean singers were wearing jerseys from the Glasgow Rangers soccer team. This Scottish team has little to nothing to do with the Texas franchise.

The jerseys worn by STAYC belong to the 1996-97 season.
Thanks to that, comments on X, formerly known as Twitter, were dominated by Rangers fans, with one saying, “The Rangers are the kings of K-pop.”
“As a Scottish Rangers supporter, this (the photo) is not my 2023 bingo card,” wrote another Glasgow club fan.
Who is STAYC and why are they famous?
The K-pop band STAYC debuted in 2020 in South Korea with the album “Star to a Young Culture,” and the group consists of Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J.
Their latest material called “Teenfresh” has crossed borders, leading them to perform in the United States, which is why they were present at the game between the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros.
