K-Pop girl group STAYC raised eyebrows in Texas when they pulled on a RANGERS kit for their show in the Lone Star State.
The band are looking to takeover America after their latest record Teenfresh skyrocketed up the charts Stateside – and are now touring all over the country in the search for more success. The six-piece group have found success in Korea and Japan but in their latest show in Texas, the tried to win over the crowd with a nod to the local sports team – but ended up picking the wrong Rangers.
The band wore retro kits from worn by the Scottish Premiership side during their appearance on stage in Dallas – but the gaffe was spotted by eagle-eyed fans of the baseball team. And despite showing more support for Philippe Clementt’s side than Bruce Bochy’s Texas outfit, they appear to have won over some punters in Scotland with the Light Blues support jumping on the STAYC bandwagon.
One fan tweeted: “Ok, I will buy all their albums.” Another chimed in: “Always liked STAYC.”
