KPOPCHART.NET – Yeonjun TXT expresses his concerns to senior in the South Korean entertainment industry, BamBam GOT7.
Although BamBam initially thought that being a boy group in the 4th generation of Kpop was something happy, Yeonjun TXT actually denies that.
Yeonjun TXT then further explains to BamBam GOT7 about the difficulties faced by 4th generation Kpop boy groups.
TXT member, Yeonjun, appeared on a new episode of the show Bam House, hosted by BamBam GOT7 as a guest.
While discussing various topics, they mentioned the current situation of 4th generation Kpop idols.
Bambam asked, “4th generation Kpop idols have been working really well lately. How does it feel to be a 4th generation idol?”

In response, Yeonjun shared, “Honestly, I think the fourth generation is quite tough. I feel like a male idol seems to be lacking attention.”
“So I feel a little sad. I want male idols to stand out more and become more famous,” said Yeonjun TXT.
Bambam agreed and said, “For male idols like us, I have felt it since a long time ago. We thirst for people’s attention.”

Yeonjun’s sadness arises when he realizes that the majority of the music charts are dominated by girl groups, even though he believes that the music produced by boy groups is just as good.
Yeonjun continues, “The music charts are mostly dominated by girl groups. Of course, it’s because their music is good.”
