Aespa, the K-pop group with members Giselle, Karina, NingNing, and Winter, is preparing to release their fourth mini album, titled “Drama.” They recently gave a sneak peek of this exciting project on their social media accounts on October 10, and their fans, known as MYs, can now save the date for its release.
The teaser showcases a video projected onto the side of a building. It features the four members walking on concrete in high heels. One of them picks up a red object from the ground while a faint siren sound plays in the background. Then, the words “Drama,” the album’s title, appear in bold red letters. The group shared this video on their social media with the caption, “aespa The 4th Mini Album. 2023.11.10 2PM (KST) / 0AM (ET).” So, that’s when we can expect their new project.
This news comes shortly after they released their first Japanese song, “Zoom Zoom,” which was part of the Beyblade X soundtrack and came out on October 6. They have not yet mentioned whether “Drama” will be in Korean or Japanese, and it’s unclear if “Zoom Zoom” will be included in this new album.
“Drama” follows their previous mini albums, “Savage,” “Girls,” and “My World,” with the latest one released in July. “Savage” was their debut mini album in 2021, and it reached No. 20 on the Billboard 200 chart. “Girls” was released the following year and became their highest-charting album, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 200. “My World” also performed well, reaching the top 10 and finishing at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
