K-pop Powerhouses BTS, Stray Kids, TXT, and TWICE Seek Grammy Glory in 2024! Music Sensations Vie for Recognition at the 66th Edition

One simply can’t deny that K-pop has become a global phenomenon thanks to its distinctive blend of addictive melodies, slick choreography and production values. It was only time before K-pop artists started getting nominated for awards at the international scale. Well, this year not one, but four K-pop groups have summited their songs and nominations for consideration at the prestigious Grammy Awards 2024.

After summiting their group songs for consideration at the Grammy 2023, BTS have now submitted their solo projects for consideration. While RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin and V’s albums have been submitted at the 66th edition of the award show, Jungkook’s smash hit Seven and J-hope’s On The Street are up for consideration.

BTS’ hoobae group TXT have also submitted their album.

Just a day after being dubbed as ‘Next Generation Leaders’ by TIME magazine, Stray Kids dropped their ‘For Your Consideration’ banner.

However, they are not the only JYP Entertainment group to do so. Nation’s Girl Group TWICE have also made a submission for consideration at the 2024 Grammys.

For the unversed, For Your Consideration or FYC marketing communications bring awareness of an artist’s eligible work to the larger music community, and ideally, to the eyes of Recording Academy voting members. While this is an important move, it does not mean a nomination has been secured.

Launched in May 1959, to honour the musical accomplishments of performers, The Grammy Awards are regarded as the most prestigious and significant awards ceremony in the music industry worldwide. Presented by the Recording Academy of the United States, the Grammys are an annual function. The upcoming 66th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 4, 2024 in Los Angeles, will feature a total of 94 categories.
