They served while serving! 36 minutes ago

Four K-Pop idols are going viral for “serving” while serving. MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, GOT7’s Jinyoung, Ha Sungwoon, and Ong Seongwu are currently fulfilling their mandatory military enlistment. Despite not being able to perform with their groups during their service, they recently had the opportunity to showcase their talents at the Ground Forces Festival (also known as 2023 Army Fest).

As part of the same group of soldiers, Jinyoung, Minhyuk, Seongwu, and Sungwoon performed dance covers of many hit K-Pop songs, including NewJeans’ “Super Shy” and LE SSERAFIM’s “Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard’s Wife.” They also danced side-by-side to Jeon Somi’s “Fast Forward.” Each member included their own songs in their performances. GOT7 danced to “Hard Carry,” while Wanna One performed “Energetic.” For MONSTA X, they chose “Shoot Out.”

Fans suspect that Jinyoung watched videos of MONSTA X leader Shownu for inspiration in his performance.
