Aespa is joining Crocs for a new collaboration. The K-pop group and the footwear company reimagined the Stomp Lined clog style, making it winter-approved with exaggerated soles and a fuzz-wrapped backstrap.
The special-edition shoe ($100) is inspired by the four members of the group: Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. The collaboration also includes a limited-edition five-pack Aespa X Crocs Jibbitz charms ($25). Designed by each member of the group, the charms include the band’s logo, a fluffy white cloud and a microphone.
For the fan fanatics, each pair of Aespa X Crocs clogs will also include a member photo card.
In the campaign photos for the collaboration, Aespa can be seen behind a dreamy landscape background, wearing fluffy dresses. Ningning wore a Since Then Marine ruffled dress with romantic frills, while Winter went soft pink in a Dew E Dew E Hanna see-through dress.
The K-pop group’s new exclusive release with the footwear brand is available for purchase at crocs.com and through select wholesale partners worldwide, as of Tuesday.
Aespa is known for popularizing the metaverse concept in K-pop music, as the group’s name combines the English words avatar and experience. In 2022, fans witnessed a unique metaverse appearance performance by Aespa at Crocs World.
Along with Crocs, the K-pop group has been a house ambassador for Givenchy since 2021 and is also an ambassador for high-jewelry brand Chopard.
Crocs has had a slew of collaborations with artists, groups and other brands this year. Among the most notable are Sza, Hershey, Justin Bieber, Pop-Tarts, Barbie and more.
