K-pop global superstars TWICE just completed a two-night, sold-out concert at Philippine Arena in Bulacan this weekend, September 30 and October 1, 2023.
This is part of their TWICE Ready To Be world tour that began in Seoul, South Korea, on April 15, 2023.

The Philippines was their 19th stop. They will resume their tour in Melbourne, Australia on November 4.
But as TWICE members said, of all the places they’ve performed, Philippines has the best audience—and it’s one of the reasons why they particularly enjoyed their stay here.
This is the second time that TWICE visited the Philippines for a concert. The first was for their TWICE World Tour: Twicelights in Manila, held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, on June 29, 2019.

Unfortunately, for their second visit, Chaeyoung was not able to join Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Tzuyu because of health reasons.
But it did not stop the third generation girl group leaders to give it their all in performing their hit songs from their seven-year career.
TWICE Ready To Be concert is organized by Live Nation PH, presented by SMART in partnership with Viu.
Here are the Top 10 Things That We Loved About The TWICE Ready To Be concert:
1. The Opening
TWICE Ready To Be concert opened with “Ready To Be” VCR intro while the giant screen showed the eight members standing there like goddesses. Then they went hard right away with “Set Me Free” and “I Can’t Stop Me.”
2. Solo stages: Mina, Sana, and Momo
Although we enjoyed the solo stages of Dahyun, Tzuyu, and Jeongyeon, there’s no doubt that the Japanese line of Mina, Sana, and Momo (MiSaMo) set the stage on fire with their sexy and sultry covers of Dua Lipa’s “New Rules (Sana), Beyonce’s “Move” (Momo), and Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” (Mina). The audience went wild, especially when Mina unleashed her sensual side, a far cry from the shy and reserved Mina that ONCEs know.

3. “Feel Special”
One of the most awaited numbers is “Feel Special” with Jihyo’s solo and a capella part as the highlight. But on the first night, unfortunately, her mic did not work so her powerful voice was not heard to the dismay of the audience. Fortunately, the members gave her the chance to do a special encore with only her part — and she did great. On the second night, Jihyo was able to redeem herself when the mic finally worked and she showed how should it be done.
4. Solo Stage: Jihyo
Jihyo literally killed her “Killin’ Me Good” solo performance. The song is the title track of her solo album. Jihyo proved that her the main vocal of the group and showed that she can carry a whole song on her own.
5. Solo Stage: Nayeon
Of course, the night will not be a complete with Nayeon performing her hit song, “Pop!” The pop and bubblegum song really captivated the audience, especially the young ONCEs.
6. The title tracks medley
Since it’s impossible to perform their entire discography, TWICE chose some of their title songs for a very fun medley which was made more exciting by the live band: “Yes Or Yes,” “What Is Love?”, “Cheer Up,” “Likey,” “Knock Knock,” “Scientist,” and “Heart Shaker.” This was the definitely the showstopper for us.
7. “Alcohol Free” / “Dance The Night Away” / “Talk That Talk”
The concert came to its climax with TWICE’s back-to-back performance of three of their more laidback but still danceable tracks: “Alcohol Free,” “Dance The Night Away,” and “Talk That Talk.”
8. Dahyun’s Tagalog words
There’s no doubt that Dahyun captivated the hearts of the Filipino ONCEs by dropping Tagalog words and phrases here and there. “Magandang gabi, ako si Dahyun. Magandang araw,” she introduced herself. Then she followed it up with, “Wow, baliw!” It doesn’t even make sense, but who cares? The audience fell in love with her. She also said, “Kumusta kayo?”, “Mahal kita,” “Grabe” (after hearing the loud cheer from the audience), and more. Dahyun is definitely the most charming member, interacting with audience with her cute and funny side.
9. The Fanboys
TWICE has a wide fanbase. Although the audience was primarily composed of Gen Z’s and die-hard K-pop fans, it’s quite surprising to see a large number of fanboys, including daddies and titos (like me) cheering, shouting, and singing along throughout the concert. In fact, it was the fanboys who were the loudest on both nights.
10. The Filipino ONCEs
Of course, like what we said in the beginning, foreign artists love performing in the Philippines because of the Filipino audience. We have the loudest cheer and we sing along the entire concert. And TWICE acknowledged it themselves during the concert, saying that they can hear our loud cheers even through their in-ear monitors. In short, the Filipinos are the best audience for a K-pop concert, and TWICE Ready To Be is no exception. Jihyo and Mina’s family got to witness that as they watched on the first day.
TWICE also expressed their gratitude to the Filipino ONCEs through their social media accounts.
