Twice’s Sana wore a peach-pink wool midi dress from Prada to take in the brand’s spring 2024 fashion show on Thursday in Milan.
Her dress featured sharp lapels that followed a polo silhouette with epaulets on the shoulders and a triangle-shaped pocket.
Sana’s dress channeled the ’60s, and she paired with white leather slingback pumps and an Arqué leather shoulder bag, both by Prada.
“Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons clashed materials and genres to gooey delight,” WWD executive editor Booth Moore wrote in her review of the collection.
Sana’s appearance is no surprise, as the songstress was named an official ambassador for Prada on Sept. 7. She also has long-standing ties with the heritage brand, attending the brand’s Mode Seoul event this month and Prada’s spring 2023 fashion show in 2022. For the Seoul event, which also included NCT’s Jaehyun and Song Kang, she wore a cream sleeveless midi gown with another circular-shaped Prada bag in black.
Sana is a part of the girl group Twice, along with fellow members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Since their debut in 2015 with the EP “The Story Begins,” the band has made large successes in the music industry. Twice is also releasing their latest mini album in March, titled “Ready To Be.”
Sana’s partnership with Prada adds to the long list of K-pop stars who have secured ambassadorships with high-fashion brands. From BTS, to Blackpink, to NewJeans, a number of stars have represented Dior, Tiffany & Co., Chanel and other brands, marrying K-pop music with luxury fashion.
Milan Fashion Week showcases the latest fashion collections with runway shows and presentations in Milan. The spring 2024 schedule features longstanding brands including Tom Ford and Prada, as well as newer brands, including The Attico.
