Live Company Group said it has postponed the KPOP LUX SBS Super Concert in London due to insufficient ticket sales.
The live-events and entertainment company said that, given another event was occurring the same weekend in Europe, with the current cost-of-living crisis and the festival in between two other KPOP events, tickets sales were insufficient.
“Furthermore, in order to ensure the show is made to the highest possible quality, we had shortened the festival to two days and prepared everything accordingly, but unfortunately it couldn’t happen,” Chairman David Ciclitira said.
The show was set to be held in London’s O2 Arena on Sept. 22-23. Ticket holders will be allowed a full refund from Ticketmaster or AXS, and the company said it hopes to put on a show next year.
Live Company’s shares have been suspended since early July, after it failed to publish its 2022 accounts by the deadline of June 30 under AIM rules.
