Of late, rumours of K-pop girl group Red Velvet disbanding have been doing the rounds on the internet. Red Velvet’s talent management agency, however, appears to have dispelled the hearsay with their latest announcement. Not just this, fans of the band now also have an estimated timeline to look forward to when it comes to Red Velvet’s next album.

Red Velvet to soon release next studio album
Rumours of Red Velvet disbanding were addressed by the group’s talent management agency with a short statement. Revealing that the band is currently working on their next studio album, the statement also revealed the month by which fans of the band can expect them to release the album.

Talent management agency SM Entertainment’s official statement reads, “Red Velvet is preparing a full-length studio album with the goal of November.” No intimation regarding the album’s title has been made thus far. The studio album, slated to release in November, will mark their third venture of the kind. While the disbandment rumours have not been addressed directly so far, news of them working hard for their album automatically dispels them.
Red Velvet: The hitmakers
Up until March 2015, Red Velvet was a four-member lineup. They were joined by their fifth member Yeri the same month, post the release of their first extended play, Ice Cream Cake. Besides Ice Cream Cake, the band is also known for their songs Dumb Dumb, Russian Roulette, Pose, Feel My Rhythm, Sunny Side Up and Red Flavour which have become popular.
